Flying Fifteen Insurance Scheme for 2025

Class insurance scheme arranged again and offering great benefits to members

Flying Fifteen Insurance Scheme.

I am pleased to inform you that UKGlobal with the support of Fiona Lavery and Jerry Dungate, we have now concluded the renewal negotiations with Haven Knox-Johnston (HKJ) for the forthcoming scheme year commencing 15 March 2025. The following is a summary of the key points:

  • Underwriters are applying a premium rate increase of 3%.  The standard premium rate increases being applied by Haven Knox Johnston (HKJ) on their Small Craft policy this year are 5%, but we have achieved that small reduction for members of the UKFFA.
  • The rating increase reflects the rising cost of claims in terms of parts, labour and supply.
  • The policy fee charged by HKJ will remain at £5, whilst the standard policy fee levied on HKJ’s small craft policies is £15.  Another saving for UKFFA members.
  • The Marine Legal Expenses premium will remain at £16.80, inclusive of Insurance Premium Tax at 12%.
  • The starter and multi-craft discounts will remain at 10%.
  • The Loyalty benefit will continue to apply which will reduce the policy excess as applicable.
  • All other terms and conditions remain unaltered.

UKGlobal will be in contact closer to the renewal date.

For the few members not yet insured with UKGlobal, please contact Jerry Dungate on 01883 333512 [email protected]
