We know a few big shots will be off to the Southern Champs at Poole. However, a more friendly relaxed but competitive race on a big pond awaits those who chose to travel to Middle Nene. Broxbourne Sailing Club is holding the final round of the 2023 Southern Travellers Series on October 7th/8th.

A quality fleet of 20 crews assembled for the Northern Area Championships despite the forecast and a great weekend's racing was had by all.

The Royal Corinthian Yacht Club held the Allen Flying 15 Burnham Open Meeting over the weekend of the 17^th / 18^th of June. In contrast to a lot of the country, the RCYC race team led by Edwin Buckley were able to lay on a fascinating 5 race series. A bit like the Gold Cup, there were to be no discards.
 

Middle Nene is a fantastic place to sail, and the weather was perfect for the 7 boats on the Saturday with a strong NE wind Force 4.
