First words from new UKFFA President Bill Chard
My first newsletter as President, but I think most of you will know me already, and if we haven’t met at an event yet, hopefully that will change next season. I’ll start by thanking Ian Cadwallader for running the ship for the last couple of years and handing over to me with the UK fleet in such good shape.
21-24th September 2023
The class National Championships took place over 4 days in Portland. 50 boats signed in for the event and the early arrivals were greeted by Storm Nigel with lashing rain and high winds. After this there was excellent racing conditions out in Weymouth Bay until the next storm arrived on Saturday resulting in a wild and windy race in the harbour.
Ian Cadwallader gives us the full SP on this year's favorites
Plenty of usual suspects, some new pairings, plus some big names from outside of the class
A final Letter from Cad
The state of the class, the weather, and how to get on with your crew!
