Flying Fifteen Fleet 60th Anniversary Open 15th/16th April

Boasting one of the largest fleets in the UK we are looking forward to greeting you in the heart of Bowness Bay for a weekend of great racing, fun, and hospitality.
The Open meeting forms part of the 2023 Lakeland Grand Prix. A series of 5 races are planned for the weekend, 3 back to back on Saturday afternoon, with two Sunday morning/early afternoon.
Following racing, on Saturday we will assemble in the bar to chat over and dissect the afternoon's racing, and shortly after 6-30pm will be served a four course bowl food meal prepared and served by The Cumbrian Chef, Julian Ankers, and his staff.

Following food there will be a raffle, 1st prize will be a new F15 jib kindly donated by Chris and Hannah Robinson at Goacher Sails. Sunday will see breakfast rolls followed by races 4 and 5. A prize-giving tea will be provided as part of the entry fee, and prize-giving will take place as soon as possible after we come ashore.
Please support this event if you can. Saturday night food is priced at £35 per head and as such, we would appreciate when entering you also book your Saturday night food with us. Entry is available on the RWYC website. Please enter early so that we can assess the numbers for catering.
