As a keen follower of the blog, and the owner of an old Mk4 Windebank/Dobson sailing up here on the stunning Lake Bassenthwaite, we've been looking at taking out the centre /traveller arrangement, having already moved to the transom bridle set up. Internet searches always throw up your postings and it has been helpful to see the Dingwall and other versions of the centre console. I was wondering if you had any information or pictures of other older fifteens where this has been done,( I know there are some about, but most of these don't have the full double floor which we have).
Obviously with Ian Preston as a fleet captain there is a ready source of good ideas, some of which are more practicable than others! I have got a good local builder who is happy to work in wood, grp or carbon, and all I need now is some ideas of how to do it, and of course a budget!
Can anyone help Chris with some photos/ideas?? Ed.
