The Southern Travellers Series comprises of 7 events throughout the south of the UK. All boats compete against each other on handicap at the open meetings with an overall prize for open silver and classic fleets for the series.
To qualify you are required to compete in two events in any of the above open meetings including the inland national championships. In the event of a draw discard events will be counted first and secondary the best results in all the events competed in (the previous year’s winners will not be counted in the 2023 results)
1 - Datchet Sailing Club - 15th – 16th April
2 - Aldeburgh YC - 3rd – 4th June
3 - Middle Nene SC - 10th – 11th June
4 - Burnham on Crouch (RCYC) - 17th– 18th June
5 - Chew Valley Lake SC - 2nd – 3rd September (Note: also Inland Championships)
6 - South Cerney SC - 9th -10th September
7 - Broxbourne SC - 7th – 8th October

Why be a part of the southern Travellers?
- Most clubs have a mix of Open, Silver & Classic boats at all levels so fun / competitive racing is had by all
- We offer some form of social events at the club or close to the club to have fun, continue the sharing of stories & knowledge
- Some clubs allow camping on site, in the club or can help find accommodation to reduce the costs
- Local members are always available to help you rig launch, recover, and pack up
- To be counted you only need to attend two events, however we would like to see you at more
