Flying Fifteen, World and International Championships 2025 Entries

Entry closing date extended to 30th June

Good news, we have 65 entries who have qualified from 9 countries for the 2025 World Championship. For those that have not qualified, there are a further 21 places available at the Pre World qualification event; to date there are 12 entries who plan to qualify for these places.

We have therefore decided to extend the Closing Date to 30th June 2025 at the same entry fee, to allow those who wish to qualify to enter.

The FFI World Championship Regulations state there is a limit of 86 boats. Clause 7.6 states that if entries are less than the maximum the balance shall be allocated to the highest placed competitors in the qualifying event.

The additional places have become available as National Associations, other than UKFFA, have not used their full entitlement. The main reason being the cost of sea freight.

In order to qualify for the Worlds the closing date of the UK Nationals has also been  extended to 30th June 2025 at the same fee.

The closing date for the International Championship has also been extended to 30th June 2025 again at the same fee. There is no qualifying requirement for the International Championship.
