Hello I have got one doubt about mast rake and rig tension
If you tension the shrouds with the jib halyard the mast goes backwards and the mast rake varíes Is not right?
On PInnell BAx tuning guide the neutral position means a straight mast without prebend?
How can you adjust both 27 rig tension and 7540mm of mast rake without bending the mast?
Is there any way of changing rig tension settings on the water?
Would be extremely useful some specific flying15 video showing how to tune the rig....
    Regards

I believe the P& B tuning guide does sometimes have a wee bit of pre bend, David McKee has written a really useful article on the subject, which should be on the ff website somewhere.

Also not sure how new/old your boat is, that info would be helpful to provide better advice

    Hello
Mine is a new one, Ovington X
Yes I have seen many pages and webs but still do not understand how to get the exact mast rake according to diferent wind conditions without changing the positition of the shrouds pin holes.

    Hi
Ok so some are now sailing with two rake settings (half a hole On the Allen Bros adjusters generally equates to 1/2 inch rake mast tip to transom) So set up your most upright rake first with a semi permanent pin then your lower rake with a fast pin. The rules do not allow you to rake during racing but you can between races if you need. If you set up with not enough rake and the wind builds during a race you just need to find other ways to de-power the boat. if you need more info on set up get back to us
