    Hi all,
We are hoping to travel to more events next year once we get our road trailer repaired and would really like to take part in events in the sea, they don't have to be specific FF15 events just somewhere that is easy to launch and recover and with some good handicap sailing, anyone got any advice on the best events to aim for?
    Cheers

    Hi Lee.

I think you'll get more out of sailing on the sea with other 15's, both in discussing techniques and comparing boat set-ups and seeing how you are performing against other 15s. Three which we have been too over the last few years are:

    1. The Nationals - always held on the sea. Hayling Island next year I believe.
    2. Poole Week. Sailed out of Parkstone YC which has a very active 15 fleet - starts this weekend if you are keen to get sailing next week.
    3. Falmouth Week - a fleet of ten 15s this year and fun ashore!

    Cheers

    Mike
