Dovestone SC hosted round 2 of the series over the weekend of the 20th/21st May. This was a sucessful event and produced new winners Andy and Sally McKee from the host club. Now that two rounds have been completed the pattern is beginning to emerge and early form is showing. At this point 3 teams have completed both events.

In this 70th anniversary year of the class it is very fitting that the oldest competing boat is currently leading the series. Silver Fox sail no 202 is over 60 years old and looks fantastic. She is owned by UKFFA President Bobby Salmond who clearly lavishes a great deal of love and care on her to maintain her in such good order. Bobby has been crewed by David Hill.

In second place in the standings are the Ullswater duo of Craig Robinson and Hannah Davies followed by the Burton pairing of Gary Butler and Paul McCarthy.

The series comprises 6 events culminating in the final/prize-giving event at Notts County in early October. The halfway stage for the series will be achieved after the next event at Rutland SC over the weekend of the 3rd/4th June.
