10 August 2019 Keith Jamieson 779 Your News South Cerney Southern Traveller Previous Article Flying Fifteen National Championships at Parkstone Yacht Club - Overall Next Article Southern Travellers Series Results South Cerney Sailing Club invites all classes of Flying Fifteens to our Cotswold Open Meeting on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th September 2019. The event is part of the Southern Travellers series. This year we will be sharing our 120acre lake with a Scorpion open meeting, running concurrently but with separate starts. The meeting will be a 6 race event, with 4 races on Saturday starting at 12.00 and 2 on Sunday starting at10.00. Competitor briefing will be at 11.00 Saturday. Prizes will be presented in the clubhouse at the end of the event for the overall winning boat, second and third placed boats using UKFFA PY adjustments. There will be prizes too for the top boats in the Classic and Silver fleets and for the highest placed SCSC boat not in these top places. The club will be open to visitors from 09.00 on Saturday. Please register your arrival in the clubhouse. Tea/coffee and lunch will be available from the galley. The bar will be open after racing both days. Sadly Pam our star caterer is unavailable this year and our Saturday evening meal at the clubhouse will a choice brought in from the nearby take-aways. The Tandoori is particularly recommended. Camping at the club is welcome, alternatively there are good hotels and guest houses in the area.
