17 March 2020 FF Editor 299 Your News More from the Dinghy Show Previous Article New Primary PY Number Next Article The restoration of Flying Fifteen 3428 More flavours from the show, including interested Olympians Our resident videographer David Heron has put-together another excellent video that will give a nice overview of this year's Dinghy Show for those who weren't able to attend. Included in the coverage are some shots of the 'other' Flying Fifteen on at the show - namely GBR 4078, displayed sans-keel on the Ovington stand. The video also includes some footage of the 470-superemo Luke Patience's visit to UKFFA's stand, and he was clearly genuinely interested in the boat and expressed an interest in sailing a F15 in the future. As it happens there is also another entirely different video from the show (on Youtube here) which includes a segement (at around 15.05 if you want to skip to it) where Luke is being interviewed and mentions again his interest in sailing a F15; even if only for publicity purposes we should as a class really try to make that happen. Anyway back to David Heron's video, which I'm sure took many hours of editting to to put together, and which joins a growing collection of videos he's produced now for the Flying Fifteen class and for Royal Winderemere YC, all of which are well worth the effort of searching-out if you haven't already seen them. Thanks David. RYA Dinghy Show , Feb/March 2020 from David Heron on Vimeo.
