FF244 "Fflurry" is now in our garage in Kingston undergoing restoration. The hull is triple diagonal planking and is in remarkably good condition considering her age. . . . Pics 001 & 002 were taken when I went to see her in Governors Bay near Christchurch, couldn't resist that lovely timber hull! . . . Pic 003 is after the old deck was removed & repairs being made before rebuilding the cockpit surround & fitting the new deck. . . . . . 004 & 005 the new cockpit surround & deck, it's a pretty basic layout, none of your fancy centre consoles here! . . . . . . . . 006.....it really was 'flying' there for a while! We wheeled the trailer out with the keel attached. The trailer is now back under the hull while I make repairs underneath & the keel is in the process of being repainted. All going well it should be ready for re-launching towards the end of the year. I'm looking forward to sailing in it as I haven't sailed a FF15 yet. .
