Simon Patterson completes the sale of FF3950Over the Autumn the class has seen a shuffling of the pack with regards to boat ownership. Quote a number of boats in the 4 to 6 years old age range have been sold for prices above £15,000.

This is obviously a significant discount on the price of a new fully fitted out boat from one of our boat fitting professionals, and has given the opportunity for people not already sailing in the class to purchase a competitive boat to "try us out".

I write further about the positive impact that changing our boats regularly will have on the class in the impending issue of FF World.

I was fortunate in selling my own boat to two ex-5o5 sailors from Scotland. Please can you welcome Alistair Colvin and Ian McPherson to our fleet. They will be sailing at Loch Lomond. Everyone looks very happy with the transaction!
