You may remember a story on the FF Blog in January that at the Australian 50th Championship in Perth, there were great fun and games in the bar afterwards - one of the games of fitness saw these super-fit Aussie types whooped by Shelagh Goacher by a few hundred percent.... Well Shelagh is at it again!!! This time cycling for Charity on a thousand
mile ride... Blimey - humbling or what....
This is how Steve explains the enterprise:-
Thanks to all our supporters and if we haven't managed to contact you yet ,this is to let you know , Shelagh is riding Lands end to John o'Groats in aid of Alices Escapes.
Eight amateur cyclists , 1000 miles in ten days with team bus support from Alice's mum
Its day six today, Moffatt to Loch Eck ,everybody in great form, some good scottish cooling rain forecast. Yesterday gave them some great opportunities to practise their upwind technique in a strong breeze over kirkstone pass.
