The program for 2019 has now been finalised. The series will comprise 5 Opens . As Rutland will be hosting the Inland Championships and the Lakeland Series has been created we have been able to introduce a number of exciting changes for 2019.
|For the first time we are able to include a tidal event. This will be at Blackpool hosted by Blackpool & Fleetwood YC, the Class's newest fleet.
From a standing start they now have 8 boats regularly racing and members supported a number of Opens in 2018. This will be an interesting and different event, well worth a visit.
The series series stalwarts Dovestone, Burton and Notts County will also be joined by a visit to Middle Nene Sailing Club. Middle Nene are the bridge between the Northern and Southern series and this year stood in at short notice to host an event when water levels produced cancellations. This is a great venue with a strong local fleet
More details of the series will be provided in due course. The dates for your diary are as follows;
May 5th-6th ---- B&FYC (Blackpool)
June 29th-30th ---- DSC (Dovestone)
Sept. 14th-15th ---- BSC (Burton)
Oct. 5th-6th ---- MNSC (Middle Nene)
Oct. 19th-20th ---- NCSC (Notts County)
