A couple of days ago we published an appeal for help from Martin Herbert in Canada regarding two older FF's that he was trying to identify from afar....This is what Ivan Coryn had to say. Does this jog any more memories - I would have though the boat with red-brown deck panels might be memorable....
Confident the one leaning against the tree with a bi coloured deck is a Wyche and Coppock, probably quite a late number..
The second more modern boat I think is a Windebank, possibly and this is a longshot Graham Bailey's boat from 2nd place in the 84 worlds Kinsale. The
appearance of the waterline is slightly distinctive.
A photo of the inside of the cockpit would be very useful. Other possibilities are Shand, and Naylor.
Ed : Once Martin can get someone to look for the sail number carvings, we can hopefully tell a lot more from the FFI Register...
